I spent a lot of time in this hotel and I can say it's really a good place for the position, the large rooms and all services provided by the staff. It's within walking distance to the seaside, there are a lot of restaurants around (the hotel has its own, that is not bad), but you can also find nigthlife, if you want (during high season, of course). I was there many times for working reasons, but I can say it is a pleasent hotel also for a holiday.

This hotel is on the busy main road from the town to the beach. On entering the hotel to register we were met by a quite sullen receptionist who did not smile once or give us any information on the hotel's facilities. Not a good first impression for travellers! On days we asked for towels for the pool it was obviously a tedious task for her and even giving directions to local amenities was an effort. The other younger receptionist was completely the opposite!
We had a fantastic room with one of the biggest balconies ever. We had a lovely view but as there was no balcony lighting put on in the evenings this did not lend itself to an enjoyable opportunity to have a small aperitif as it was so dark. We asked about getting the lights put on but was told it was not possible. The room was clean but the services were not 4 star standard - toiletries were not replaced and no separate shampoo or shower gels were provided only a container with a dual purpose cleanser fixed to the shower wall.
I cannot comment on the food as we were room only but for the money we paid for the stay it was good value,
There is a tiny roof pool which we had to ourselves most days but the water was freezing and impossible really to swim in.
I would not stay here again as the town was too quiet for us but the hotel is okay.
We were there out of season and found most of the bars, restaurants and shops to be closed a lot of the time.

We have just enjoyed a 4 day extended weekend break. Absolutely fantastic. All of the staff are friendly, the room which included a lounge area was very comfortable and the room was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. In fact the whole hotel was spotless. We upgraded to full board and our only complaint was the food was so nice we ate everything which meant we were constantly full. Compliments to the chef for producing such quality food. Highly recommend the fresh tuna, lamb shoulder and the chocolate coulant. Good location for a peaceful rest, 10 mins from beach and 10 mins from main shopping area. During our visit we appeared to be the sole users of the pool which added to the peace and tranquility. Compliments to everyone at the Traina.

A modern hotel situated in very Spanish town, including lots of Spanish tourists. The staff at reception were very welcoming. The rooms were modern and clean, the hotel was quiet.
The breakfast choice was excellent and the one evening meal we had was very good and excellent value for money.
The hotel is situated mid way between the beach(s) and the town centre and convenient for both. Suspect the on street parking in the height of summer may be a problem. The salt marshes are well worth a visit. The views from the roof top pool are excellent.
