We stayed in the Coral as it was really the only one on offer in L'estartit. It was very cheap for the week and we had very cheap flights - we were a bit concerned but thought it was only to sleep in so would be okay for a week. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed but the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms and bathroom and quite small and very dated but were very clean and stayed that way as the maid came daily and changed the towels daily. The location of the hotel was fabulous right in the centre of the square and about a 6 minute walk to the beach. There is a pool again the pool area is a bit dated but it was quiet clean and always plenty of sunbeds. The only real downside was the lack of air conditioning this really did affect the quality of our sleep however for the price we paid you couldn't expect anything other - we did get a fan for the room which helped. We found a great little bar called Clancy's the food was fabulous and a very friendly owner well worth a visit!! All in all for a budget holiday we got better than we hoped for.
