We stayed here for 5 nights in June on a Brittany Ferries jaunt and were perfectly happy with all aspects of the hotel. It isn't 'grand luxe' but what do people expect from a 3 star hotel? The staff were all very pleasant and helpful and we had no language issues despite our poor Spanish.
The room was clean and kept so through our stay. Linen was changed frequently and towels when needed.
Reception staff were always cheerful and helpful, the restaurant staff attentive.
Food in the restaurant was good but excessive in quantity; it is based on local dishes and availability. We preferred the restaurant El Caserio 800 metres away near the lighthouse but that's pricey. Breakfast, however, we found very good with a wide range of fruits, breads and pastries available.
It was further away from the centre of Suances than we expected, some 2 km.
