We ended up here after a rainstorm turned blizzard drove us down from the mountains, so we would be better positioned for our morning flight. Clearly a business hotel, it was conveniently located a short walk from the downtown area in the shadow of the Julian Alps, a pretty place for a walk around although most places were closed and there was absolutely nothing happening there on this chilly Friday night. The hotel itself is bright and modern, if a bit sterile. The room was fairly small but well-organized, clean, and adequate. Wired internet available in the room; wireless only in the lobby. We felt fortunate to be able to walk in without reservations and get a decent room downtown, which furthermore came with a full breakfast of meats, cheeses, chocolate croissants, and much more, at a reasonable price. Not a destination in itself, but quite a find for us.

A great find. The hotel is modern and with good views of the neighbouring hillsides and mountains. The apartment was pleasant, clean and comfortable.

The hotel is convenient to the old town which was simply wonderful - a small patchwork of largely pedestrian streets with the occaisional pub and restaurant - and is on an flat but elevated platform with steep declines to the rivers on three sides.

Well worth the trip - and we actually preferred it to Ljubljana which we visited the next day.

Returned for the second time, good place if you want to stay overnight in Kranj. Helpful people, the only drawback is that they want to charge extra €3 for the cable, if WIFI does not work in he room :-(. Dinner in the hotel between 7-10. Alternatively, there is a cheap Balkan Fast Food place across the street, open till 2 a.m.

The hotel is very well positioned in the old town, close to coffee shops and other shopping areas. There is plenty to do around Kranj and everything is close by. You would get what you expect from a 3 star hotel. The hotel staff are friendly and help a lot, the rooms are clean and tidy. It is what you need for a city break or business trip.
The down side is no air con so it can get a bit warm in warm months, but aside from that I can't fault it. Will be staying here again.
