We recently spent one night at Tenuta Tizzauli as we had a dinner to attend in the countryside outside of Montespertoli and did not want to drive all the way back to Florence afterwards. We found a very reasonable rate online, and were really pleasantly surprised at the size of the room (it was actually a tiny apartment/suite with a full kitchen, clothes washer, large bathroom, etc.). The lone staff member was a pleasure to deal with, we received a complimentary bottle of wine (and also purchased a bunch more at a great price) and the Wifi worked great. This looks like an immaculate property and while it is a great quiet winter getaway, it would probably be most enjoyable in the summer when the pool is open too.
