We stayed at this hotel for nine nights and found it very recommendable, also in midterm season. There are many hiking tracks nearby you might reach by car or without. Bagni di Lucca is a nice little town with small shops like a bakery and market on Saturdays. For midterm - when the pool of the hotel is closed - there is a thermal swimmingpool in a hotel nearby open to the public. It's an hour to drive to the nice sandy beaches north of Viareggio.

Good quality, older-style hotel accommodation. At the end of town, with not as many restaurants, although the one on the corner down the road is fantastic: we ate there a few times and found food tasty and affordable. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, speak English. Breakfast is generous. Weeknights much cheaper than weekend prices. Good value for money.

We spent five nights at the Park Hotel Regina and found the large room, with park / poolside views very suitable for the three of us. Although the weather did not allow us to use the swimming pool the facilities and park area are very beautiful and very well kept. The hotel staff are extremely helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the breakfast and cappuccino's. The restaurant at the Corana Hotel is very good and there is a great Pizzeria just across the road from the Park Hotel Regina. The parking area is off the road which allows for hassle free parking. This is a great place to stay, very family friendly and we highly recommend it.

My husband and I have just returned from a second visit to this lovely hotel. We had a room overlooking the fantastic salt water pool with a balcony and enjoyed every moment. We did have a car this time bit you can easily get around without one the hotel is very close to a supermarket and excellent restaurants both accross the road and next door and others in the village. The weather was lovely, the mountain air fresh, the drinking water is very good. The staff are fantastic very helpful always there if you need them but not obtrusive in anyway, my parents and sister are also staying there at the moment in a suite parkside. The suite is very large and comfortable and they are enjoying it very much. We will return and highly recommend this hotel, thank you to Roberto and your excellent staff for a great relaxing holiday.
