We stayed at the Hotel Vigna in Salo from 21st September to 26th September. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much for them and dealt with any queries professionally and promptly. We already chose a room with a balcony over looking the lake and we were not disappointed as the room and the view outside were fantastic. We were staying at the hotel when one of the other quest's celebrated her 60th Birthday and there was a great atmosphere for everyone present in the breakfast room. There was good choice of food at breakfast to suit different nationalities and lovely to overlook the lake. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge in the evenings. We would definitely return some day.

Lovely hotel and very pleasant management/owner team who look after their guests. They really do make you feel as through your stay is special. We had a surprisingly spacious room overlooking the lake with a small balcony. We used the balcony to its full extent, watching lake life go by at breakfast (Enjoying the complimentary room service for this meal), but also in the evening watching the locals & tourist alike enjoying the late evening sunshine whilst sharing a bottle of local wine. An excellent 3 star hotel.

The location of the hotel is on a pedestrian promenade which is in a very short walk to the ferry which opens you up your horizons to the whole Lake

Salo town was in my opinion one of the prettier town on the Lake. The numerous bars and restaurants are very welcoming and enjoyable and yet again only a short walk away from the hotel door. The custom in the bars of serving extensive nibbles with your aperitif was most welcome especially early evening.

My partner & I will be returning both to Salo & our port of call will be the Vigna.

We stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Vigna in Salo. We were met by Alice who was so warm and friendly and checked us in promptly. After we had settled in we noticed a small amount of water in front of the bidet. We called Alice and in a matter of minutes Philippo the owner was there to take care of the problem. Roberta the owners spouse was also very warm and friendly and offered us all sorts of info regarding where to eat and what and how to see the important features around Lake Garda. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony overlooking Lake Garda for a fantastic view and a great place to sun and sit and enjoy a bottle of wine in the evening before dinner. This was the perfect place for us and the staff of Roberta,Philippo and Alice could not have been nicer in making our stay with them enjoyable and memorable

We stayed at the Hotel Vigna for a week from 21st September. We were 3 couples and all had rooms with balconies with fabulous views of the lake. One of our party celebrated her 60th birthday whilst we were staying there and once the owner heard us singing "Happy Birthday" to her at breakfast he immediately presented her with a bottle of Prosecco and poured the drinks out himself!

All of the positive reviews about this hotel are truly accurate and the difference between this hotel and any other lakeside hotel are the Staff at the hotel. Each and every one of them were friendly and helpful and particularly those on the front desk could not do enough to help us, with our queries.

The rooms on the 1st floor have larger balconies with sunloungers which provides a bit more "outside space" if you need it.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Vigna and would recommend it to anyone. We hope to return some day.
