Service was great, all credit to owners and staff who made our stay so enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble.
The food as far as we were concerned was a delight and drinks very reasonably priced for a hotel.
Our room was in the new part of hotel at back overlooking car park and had all we needed, clean well furnished with shower and bath. Pillows and bed was a little bit hard but they were quite new I think.
Small town with bars restaurants shops cash machine within ten minute walk.
It's a nice walk down to Sorrento but we came back by bus as its all up hill for the return.

We stayed at the sant agata during May 2010 and were quite surprised. The overall service was Excellent, all the staff were polite and most helpfull. The room decor looked fresh and almost new. As for the coment in an earlier review about the food both others in our party and ourselfs found the food to be very good and on a couple of occaions to be excellent. The Hotel is situated about 6/7 Km from sorrento but is serviced by good public transport.
Overall we would like to thank the Hotel management and staff for a great stay

We were here for one week in May and wished we could have been there for
longer.
Our room was perfect, very smart, extremely clean, thanks to the excellent room service.
The food was always of a high standard, and the staff were so helpful and attentive.
There is a good bus service from Sant Agata so traveling around was so easy.
Taking the bus to Sorrento and then the train(which is very cheap) to Pompei was
so simple...try it.

Stayed here for 5 nights, knowing we would not choose Sorrento. Town is typically Italian with a good bus sevice to get you around the peninsular. Hotel well placed for buses, restaurants etc. Rooms are OK, comfortable but very dated, bathrooms are old fashioned and could do with updating or a deep clean. The lighting is appalling. If you want to read- take lightbulbs! The hotel is also surprisingly noisy due to its location midst two roads both busy very early in the morning. Ask for a garden facing room. This also spoils the ambiance if you take time out round the beautiful and recently installed pool. Staff try hard but wouldn't suggest a meal there -dining room formal, menu looks dull and English - perhaps aimed at the walking groups holed up there on half board. Use the local bars and restaurants. They are good...... Lo Stuzzichino is exceptional
