My wife and I travelled here because the hotel is close to the town of her grandmother. After finding very little online in the way of nearby places to eat, we decided to try the hotel's restaurant our first night. Were we hooked! We liked it so much that we came back the following evening as well, and had some of the best food we ate in Italy!
Adding to our enjoyment was the gracious help of Carlo, a waiter who spoke English (a bit of a rarity in the south of Italy) and who patiently explained the menu to us. He was a godsend. A visiting soccer team that dined across the room and wondered through the hotel for the two days we were there made our time at the hotel even more fun.
We also were helped greatly by Antonio, who appeared to be a hotel manager. He actually made two calls to my wife's cousin for us and helped translate, because our Italian is "poco" and our Italian relatives speak very little English.
Our room was clean and modern, the Internet service was free, breakfast was enjoyable with a great variety of choices, and we were able to walk around the nearby neighborhood in this suburb of Cosenza. We had an excellent time, aided greatly by Carlo and Antonio.
One note: The hallway to our room seemed a little dark, because some of the ceiling lights don't turn on until you begin walking down them. I assume they are operated by sensors.
Overall, it's a very pleasant hotel with an excellent restaurant and cordial, cooperative employees. Definitely worth a stay if you are in the Cosenza area. We hope to go back again sometime in the future.
