“Good Country Hotel in Town Centre”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 February 2012

Stayed overnight and was pleasantly impressed with the service and comfort. We dined in the evening in the restaurant and enjoyed duck for my partner and cutlets. The service was excellent and the price was very reasonable. Staff were friendly and efficient and this made a difference. Room was on the first floor and was roomy, clean and warm and had all the facilities one would expect of a good three star hotel. Full Irish breakfast was available and satisfying, along with full selection of fruits and cereals.

“Okay hotel. Great food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 November 2011 via mobile

Hotel is ok, slightly old fashioned and could do with a makeover but is very clean, right in the middle of the town and staff are friendly. The best thing about the hotel is the food, the restaurant is very modern and the food is great

“Quite, pleasant Hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

The Hotel, tho a bit shabby at the front was nicely presented and clean inside. It has a modern feel to it without it being over the top.
When we arrived we had to find a member of staff to book us in, as there seems to be only a small number of staff who have to do everything.
The room was clean and well presented with iron/ironing board and the normal tea/coffee making facilities, although the TV which only had a few basic channels wasn't tuned in properly. The bathroom was clean but there was a lack of heat of any kind so it felt cold.
The wall heater in the bedrooom was a simple electric convector radiator that has been made complicated in its use, there are 2 wall switches to operate it and 2 thermostats to control it. It is also turned off by a timer overnight so if you wake up cold like i did you cant have it back on again until 5:30 as i was informed by the night porter.
The food in the restaurant was very good and well priced, although there are not to many choices outside of the Hotel.
There was free internet in the lobby but it was not available in the room.
We also had problems settling the bill the night before as the young lady who normally does it had gone.
Would I stay here again.... yes.

Room Tip: If its going to be cold ask for a spare heater for the early hours.

“A warm Irish welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 June 2011

We spent 2 nights at the Cill Aodain Court Hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We tried most of the pubs in the town, and Ryan's Bar, opposite the hotel, was our favourite. A couple of the others were a bit dark and uninviting, and empty - but there again it was mid-week that we were there. We can recommend the breakfast at the 'Central Perk' cafe on the main road as well - good value for money.
In our hired car we drove to Galway, which was beautiful, and then back via Clifden, Westport and Castelbar - some wonderful scenery. Can't wait to book another holiday in the same region.
