My friend and I recently stayed at the Marinos and honestly we did not want to go home. I have travelled the world and I can honestly say that the Costa Costa Lassi beach is the best I have ever been on. The Appartments were absolutely beautiful, we had a 2 bedroom appartment No. 10. The owners went beyond the call of duty in making our stay most enjoyable. Marinos senior was lovely and so was his wife and his son Marinos and of course Stelios, his snacks are legendary. We used the swimming pool every day on the way back from the beach before we enjoyed our ice-cold drinks at the bar, the water in the pool was at the most perfect temperature. The owners of the beach bar and water sports centre were also kindness itself in leaving us 2 sunbeds for our exclusive use for free. Lovely people, lovely island, we will be back at the Marinos in May and October for another boost to our senior bodies.

Came back Yesterday! Basic apartments clean and tidy nine gardens and pool area .. Those are the good bits!
Now the bad!... Apartments are small and bad lay out!! the double bed looks out on patio!!
Bath room Old and small with shower (no Bath). Kitchen has No oven or microwave ONLY has Electric 2 ring hotplate to cook on.
Bar served small amount of snacks and drinks That was until Tuesday when they an out and stopped serving ANY FOOD. Beer was cold Until WEDNESDAY when they RAN out and did not bother getting more they just closed down the bar for the rest of the week!
The weather was great but the noise from the house directly opposite the pool (freezing cold by the way nobody got in) and entrance to the apartments had 5/6 dogs in it and were left out side the house( 50 feet away)on the road all day barking all day and chasing cars down the road!! Do not go in October as most has already closed down only One shop open most eating and drinking places closed but did find couple of good ones still open.Bar on beach (Beautiful Beach) closed the week before.Glad weather was Excellent other wise would had been a wash out!! bit like theses apartments

We spent a week at the Marinos at the end of September in a 2 bed appartment. We had seen the good reviews on Trip Advisor before we went but wondered if they were right as these appartments are only 2*. Trust me they are. The appartments are really really clean and it's no wonder as the maid spends ages in them 6 days a week. We stayed in room 6 and it was very spacious with a nice terrace. Myself and my husband can only agree with all the other good comments people have made about these appartment. If we ever go back to Lassi we will definately stay here again. I'm very fussy about cleanliness and these appartments really are spotless which made up for the slightly uncomfortable bed.

Kefelonia is a beautiful Island, marred by the amount of starving cats and dogs roaming around. Un-neutered. It basically ruined my holiday, so if you are an animal lover I'd avoid it sadly.
The Marinos apartments were basic but clean.
