the owner was nice and kind. the room was clean, but there is no shower curtain so the hole bath room becomes flooded. also the location isn't very good. you have to walk about 20 mins to the fira city.

I am not too impressed with some of the reviews this place has received... I think people have to realize they are going to an island in Greece - so things are done the Greek way, and if you're looking for an Americanized tropical place to lie on the beach, greece isn't the place to go. The owners were not fluent in English, but I didn't know any Greek, so they're doing better than me! They were very friendly, and the other guests all seemed quite content with their stay. The bathroom wasn't as clean compared to north American hotel standards, but then again, when you travel, dealing with differences is part of the experience. I traveled alone and walked along the street to firs alone and never once felt unsafe... And I'm a young female. I've worked in hotels in Canada before, and the guests who complain enough to write a bad review are the unhappy type A's who will complain no matter what you do. I would definitely stay there again, if I ever find my way back to santorini.

The room looked a bit like a dungeon. The beds were soooo uncomfortable. The owners could nto speak a word of english which is VERY unpractical, I had to rely on my Greek-speaking friend to communicate with them. It is a MIN 10 minute walk on a main road that is not very safe looking for 2 young girls...I would have payed a bit euros to get a hotel in the center of town to avoid that walk and to be able to hop onto any bus to go to th toher towns and beaches during the day. Pool was nice but why would u want to use that when there are over 3 different beautiful beaches to see

We chose this hotel because we have friends who went there a year ago and liked the hotel. We decided to stay at this hotel for 3 nights. When we got to the port, we met the owner who gave us a ride to the hotel. The room was really simple but the bathroom was really dirty and didn't seem to have been done in a while. We had to clean it ourself with anticeptic soap we were carrying. There is no maid service. She only came to change our towel . The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from Thira. The walk is really safe and easy. There's a supermarket just across the street which is usefull. I wouldn't go there again but for the price (20 euros) it would have been good if the room was clean
