Two weeks in nikos apartments was very enjoyable holiday. Apartments were clean and staff really friendly. Nothing was to much trouble. The kids enjoyed the pool and were very sad to leave. Only complaint was the bathroom was quite small. We ate out every nite so didnt use cooker and stuff but seemed to be well enough equiped. There was enough room in the rest of the apartment. We had 2 apartments one with 3 adults and a child and the other with 2 adults and child. Would recommend this apartment for a family holiday.

This is the second time I have stayed at Nikos Appartments in Stalis. The first time I was 15 and I came with my parents for 2 weeks. We had such a brilliant time that I decided to take 2 of my friends this year being 18 and was the first holiday I had away without my parents. I can honestly say that I've never felt so at home as I did when I was here again. We arrived at about midnight and Manos showed us to our room. The next morning, I saw Efi at the bar and she remembered me straight away which was so nice. I then saw Van who was quick to send his regards to my parents. We stayed for a week and it went so quick. It's about 10 minutes ish walk to the main strip in Stalis where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. The bbq night is absolutely fantastic and a must do type of thing. For one thing, you dont have to go anywhere so it's even more relaxing to know that. The food is very very nice and enough for everyone plus cretan wine. Then Efi gets everyone up dancing and eventually onto the bar which is heaps of fun! The boys behind the bar pass shots around for everyone and set the bar "on fire" so to speak. We then danced zorba the greek around the pool and you then have the option to jump into the pool in the evening - something that is very refreshing after all that dancing. The crew are keen to offer you more free drinks and everyone has a really nice night. The price is 15 euros per adult - very reasonable considering all the effort the family go to.
Every night the bar is open until the last one goes to bed (we stayed till 3am sometimes and it wasn't a problem). Pool bar snacks are available throughout the day. The appartment was very clean - no issues there and cleaners came most days if not every day. On the last night, Efi said how she looked for me every day just to check I was ok with my friends as we are still young and she said she was responsible for us. They all did a great job. One of my friends said she is coming back next year and I also want to show other friends such a lovely environment to be in. Roll on summer 2012 !! <3

Apartments basic but comfortable - catering facilities could be better, ie, toaster. microwave
Lovely pool area and garden, plenty of sunbeds!
Van, Effie and Manos very hard working and do their best to take care of any issues you may have (Manos supports West Ham too - Good Boy!)
About 10 minute slow stroll to the start of the Strip, underpass definitely nothing to worry about - more dangerous crossing the National Road!! Watch out for quad bikes though
Noise from bar area can be a problem in the original block as not double glazed.
Sounds get "cranked up during "Tequila club" times - 4pmish
BBQ night enjoyable, dancing on bar and round pool
Bathroom small but fairly good standard for Greece - proper shower enclosure/tray but small.

My friends & myself have been returning to Nikos now for 11-12yrs,we first met on our hols at Nikos & are from all different parts of England,we all keep in touch at home & meet up again on our annual pilgrimage at Nikos first 2wks in Sept,we all love the place,the people,the food,the lifestyle.the complex itself is kept neat & tidy,the service at the bar is good& pact with fun & laughter,the food thats prepared for you is very good & at a fair price,Van & Effie take care of you,anything,anytime,BBQ night is absolutely bonkers & brilliant fun,Nikos & Mammas cooking is to "die for",superb.
The rooms are more than adequate & are kept very clean throughout your stay,& the staff work tirelessly to achieve this,they are also very friendly & you can have a laugh with them all.
Stalis town is great for tavernas & bars,shops,or just a quiet stroll along the beach road,we shall do our annual trip again & again, " WE LOVE IT". GANGSTERS.
