Me and my wife visited the hotel for a weekend in order to get some rest and enjoy the spa. We decided to pay something more in order to stay in an executive room rather than a superior one that had twin beds instead of a double.
Initially we were given an executive room with a sea view, but...with no sea view. The sea was hidden by trees. The very pleasant thing was that the reception was very willing to proceed with a room change to make us happy. So this issue was fixed.
One thing that we didn't like with the executive rooms was that the decoration was pretty "poor like". There was a carpet and 2 old (or "oldlike" armchairs). The room was quite big but quite empty too. The bed was pretty big (king size) but the matress was very "tough". I had an awful sleep during the two nights we stayed there.
Additionally, the aircondition was old, broken, full of dust and wasn't working properly. At least...it was working a bit.
So, in terms of "executive room", I don't think that the room was worth it, especially for a 5* hotel. There was not even a coffee facility and even though we paid a good deal of money for the room, we were not offered any bottle of wine, or at least a bottle of water.
But the most annoying of all was the total hotel's policy! No free water was offered during breakfast of dinner. We had to pay 2 euros for a 1litre bottle (which is not usual for greek hotels). In addition the service at the pool was rather poor. We waited for half an hour before someone came to ask us whether we'd like something to drink.
We used to have our coffee by the pool and the annoying was that we paid 9 euros for 2 coffees, served at... plastic cups.(and the coffee was not good,,,).. I guess it would not be that difficult of expensive for the hotel to serve using glass...
The breakfast and dinner was excellent. As well as the personnel, they were all very kind. The buffet was very rich and they served EVERYTHING! (except free water... :) )
The only bad thing is that the restaurant didn't have any airconditiong...or at least it was off..
As far as the spa is concerned, all services were great and the personnel was very willing to serve.

Dear valued guest,
thank you for taking the time to post your review on Trip Advisor for our hotel.
We appreciate your comments! However we find it essential to answer back with our point of view so future reviewers can have full picture of the facts.
We apologize for the beds not being comfortable enough. Some others have found them to be ideal for sleeping but this matter is totally subjective. However, we are in process of replacing them shortly.
Regarding the fact that the coffee is served in plastic cups it's a matter of safety. Cups of glass are not allowed around the pools as they may break and have accidents stepping on them.
As for your comment on the A/C at the restaurant we need to inform you that it operates properly and it was never switched off.
We once again thank you and we wish you a great winter time.
Best regards from all the Galini Wellness Spa & Resort.
