We stayed for a night only (we were there for a wedding). The room was booked for a couple. The bed size was between twin and double bed and the sheet on it was a twin sheet (you could see the mattress from the sides).
The toilet had "remains" form the previous guest and we were provided only a couple of towels (no hand towel).
While looking for a plug we moved the bed side table and it seemed that no one had cleaned the floor for a few months.
The receptionist found it difficult to say hello when we were walking by the reception.

Lovely hotel across the street from the promenade that runs along the water. Nice clean rooms, hospitable friendly and helpful staff. I recommend this hotel highly

Stayed at Hotel Violetta on Oct. 11, 2009. It is centrally located on the strip overlooking the water. First floor balcony overlooking a lovely courtyard and and the sea, with its mountainous background. This serene, uncommercialized area is more known to the locals so there are not too many Engish speaking people in the area. This was not a problem at Hotel Violetta. The staff was more than willing to assist, and communicated well in English. It has a cafe out front. Not sure what else they may serve, as we didn't have a chance to explore it during our one night stay. A wonderful stay. The hot springs of Themopolaye are a cab ride away. Beware that those springs, in keeping with traditional Greek business hours, close early in the day, at least at this time of year. Thank you to the staff of Hotel Violetta!
