We had a wonderful relaxing stay in Mas de la Tourette at the beginning of September. Rosy and Johny are brilliant hosts and we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the master bedroom which has a beautiful view on the garden and the sea. The breakfast was very good, typical frensh, with fresh fruit from the garden and home made jams. Rosy and John give great advice what to do and where to go to. They know the best restaurants and the nicest beaches.
The pool area had just the perfect temperature located in a beautiful garden.

If you are looking to stay in the Le Pradet area (East of Toulon) you need look no further. We stayed for 3 nights and could have stayed longer. Our room was in the older part of the Mas, on the ground floor. It was a lovely room, beautifully decorated and furnished - with A/C! Also, rare in France, there is tea/coffee/kettle available in the room. John and Rosy are a delight, superb hosts - both are a mine of information and very keen to help. On the first evening, you are treated to apperitifs and canapes on the terrace. The swimming pool is lovely and heated!

Would we stay again - love to! As to local restaurants we followed our hosts' recommendations and were not disappointed. Best of the bunch was Lou Petoulet; an outstanding Auberge with views to the coast and beyond.

John and Rosy are the best hosts one could ask for - they're extremely friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and were willing to go out of their way to make our stay as wonderful as possible. They recommended excellent places of interest for us to visit; restaurants, shops, bakeries, beaches etc for us to go to; and John shared with/lent us plenty of useful literature/materials on Le Pradet and the surrounding areas. They really are a lovely couple and made us feel at home - it was almost as though we were visiting friends of the family or distant relatives! I highly recommend staying at Mas de la Tourette if you're going to be in the Toulon, Provence, Côte d'Azur and/or French Riviera areas, and you want to stay somewhere quiet & tranquil, away from the hustle & bustle of cities & towns, with warm & friendly people who'll make your holiday even more memorable!
