“Working trip to Limburg - Stay at De Wens Bron”

We booked this time through Booking.com for this Guest House.
We were working in the area and just needed a bed. I had stayed before, but only realised that when we arrived in the area. My colleagues had not........so they ask that I leave this message. The hosts of De Wens Bron made our work visit totally enjoyable. Sandy even did us a substantial packed Lunch every day. What with the breakfast then the packed lunches we were stuffed !!! haha.
Everything about this guest house is A1. From the hosts right through to the Guest House itself. Why is nothing too much trouble for these people I ask? When we have to return to Limburg, we WILL be staying here, that is if they can accomodate us...............fingers crossed. Thanks Sandy and George. The best.

“Borgloon rocks”

Sandy was great. we came in from frankfurt airport very tired and needing sleep. It was dark, and we were a bit turned around. The lovely folks at Borgloon's Johny's Frites shop actually led us, in their car, over to Sandy's. Our son was very happy to play with her dogs. We love this guesthouse. Stay here.

  • Liked — The location and it's not a tourist trap. real folks and local wine. Rual and peaceful.
  • Disliked — nothing.
  • Tips/Secrets — Brogloon area is wonderful to hike and explore ask Sandy for advice. enjoy your stay.

Our first time in a Guest House. No hotels for us anymore............if all Guest Houses and Hosts are like George and Sandy at De Wens Bron.
Comfortable and clean rooms - newly refurbished.
The English Breakfast.............delicious and plentiful AND included in the price of the room.
George gave us precise directions to the markets, and we planned on going to St Truiden and Tongeren, but ended up at Geel and close by Borgloon.
To sum up a Fantastic weekend, excellent rates, excellent rooms, excellent food and last but not least excellent George and Sandy.
