This is our third stay at the Bergkonig and it gets better every time.

The rooms are excellent and huge with views over the Elfer Lift and 22 yards long !

Can only fully agree with Cumbria walker that everything is top notch and Frau Siller and her team do everything to make your stay comfortable without looking to charge for every small thing.
The food is excellent and presented beautifully , where could you have 14 different soups in a fortnight ?

The leasure facilities are great and it is the attention to detail that makes the Hotel so good,
e.g. dressing gowns and a bag for your towels (which are provided) , free safe , mountain bikes etc.

Do try the electric bikes, wonderful experience !

Rudi runs the bar efficirntly and humourously , no pressure to buy drinks and always plenty of water on table to drink (at no cost !)

Afternoon tea and cakes every day , do not visit if you are on a diet !!

A final mention must be made of Charlotte, a trainee waitress born in England, her bubbly personality was great fun , she certainly works hard to make all the guests welcome.

If you only visit on Hotel in Austria, this should be the one.

Nearlly did not book this hotel after reading some of the reviews , but very glad we did , this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in Austria and we have stayed in many , were in Neustift 2009 at the Berghof now if the negative reviews were about that hotel I could understand it. All the staff without exception especially Charlotte were brilliant and very helpful ,the afternoon tea etc best we have ever had , the free mountain bikes were top makes , free hotel taxi , superb leisure complex , food very good , never seen so much bread on offer , fresh milk brought in by the farmer most mornings , yes the drink machine was a bit naff , but water was free on a night unlike last year at the Berghof when we were charged for tap water , we did not have south facing room but still had good view over the other mountain and compared to some hotels that view was better than most , the packed lunch yes you do make it yourself , from all the different breads , chesses , meats , cakes , nuts , bannanas , peaches ,apples etc .Met some very nice people from many countries would have no hesitation going to this hotel again , and the people that do not like this hotel would like to visit the hotel think is better than this

Cannot understand negative comments. Frau Siller and Rudi cannot be more helpful , as are rest of the staff. Helpful but not intrusive. Fodd is excellent, sometimes can be too much but diets are not for holidays.
We love afternoon tea and cakes on terrace , relax and meet fellow guests.
Hotel is not too large to be impersoanl however hascellent leisure facilities .
Rooms are excellent, some are so latge you can get lost in them.
We have booked again in 2010, could not get in 2009 due to popularity. This will be our third year, have been in many Austrian hotels but this is one of the best. You cannot fail to enjoy your hoilday if you stay here !

Modern hotel with good food and service!

We booked hotel room and ski pass together at directly at the hotel. Good offer and very convenient.

Very recommendable for people who are looking for a relaxing ski and spa break!
