During my trip around India I had a very pleasant stay in this nice hotel. The hotel was much better then I've estimated. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable, although the interior could be modernized, but the staff did their very best. All the time they were very kindly and did their best to solve every problem I had about my further journey. I would say the service was at a five star level.
Also the food in both restaurants was really tasty and the staff was kind.
A further mentionable point about this house is the fees less computer which is offered to its guests.
If I come back to Durgapur I would stay again in this hotel!

I stayed here for 2 days only because of the name "Peerless". I rooms were shabby and had old furniture. Although rooms were clean and neat, but the hotel authorities have not upgraded them to modern standards. The toilets are all clumsy looking. I did not want to unpack the first day. The rooms on the first floor are much better than any other floor, probably because of new furniture. Do not be fooled by the reception about the views from the window - there are simply no views.

The restaurant was very nice and served good vegetarian breakfast in the morning. The spread was also good. They would also have your breakfast packed if you have to leave early. The conference halls are too small and they offered us the lawns, but we did not take it since there are better places in the town elsewhere.

On the whole, poor value for money....

Peerless is the only confortable place to stay in durgapur.
Food is ok but expensive as compared to the quality and quantity.
Buffet is also OK
Rooms are comfortable the Air conditioner is working or is set to a proper temperature.

Fantastic hotel in city centre. Good view of the green city from top floor.
The buffet breakfast was quite nice, good room service also.

I particularly liked a small piece of chocholate placed at my bed with a message 'good night', that was nice.
There was no swimming pool though but good value for money.
