Newtonmore is a lovely town in the Highlands, and the Eagle View Guest House is an excellent B&B. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming, and pretty good at the pub quiz night. The B&B is situated right in town, an easy walk to the pub. Our room was comfortable and warm, with a refurbished bathroom and an excellent shower. It looks like the house was recently renovated, it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were great, I especially liked the kippers and salmon. One afternoon we came in wet from walking around while it was snowing/raining and they put a fire on in the lounge where we sat for the rest of the day. We'd like to come back to Newtonmore when it's drier, and will definitely be back to the Eagle View.
Room Tip: We stayed in the room on the main floor and it was great. Spacious, with a big window, nice bathroom...
