Horrible, expensive, dirty, very very old. For instance the electricty board inside the room is manual, and there are bugs in the breakfast room.

They call it a four star hotel. Why? The carpets are worn and dirty,the air con does not work. there is black mould around the bath, there is no car park. you may get parked on the abandoned building site nextdoor (if you are lucky) the beach is a tiny strip of grit that does not look clean. There is at least one petty thief on the staff. we bought three chocolate bars, left them on the table then went out. we we returned two were missing. We told the reception who sent a supervisor up (room 716)
Instead of sorting it out there and then because it was no big deal, she laughed in our faces showing complete disrespect saying "who would steal two chocolate bars"
with no help from her we went to reception again and were met with the same attitude.

We spent a week in DobleMar this pasted summer and I have to say it does not come close to the four star standard. The hotel decor is very old, carpets in all the rooms, which after all the years of use are dirty and badly stained. The lifts/elevator are so old and slow that there is almost constantly a queue to use them.
The food was really, really terrible, the worst I´ve ever had in any hotel, and we´re a Spanish and Irish couple so we have a point of view from both sides. The staff service in the restaurant equally as poor. They had no scruples in asking us to move from one table to another (even with toddler in toe) because they decided to keep it for one client or another.
All in all I would not recommend to anyone a stay at DobleMar.
The Manga itself is totally exploited, with hotels everywhere but little footpaths or entertainment for tourist
