The staff is polite and friendly. The room has modern decoration. There are only Digital Territorial Television channels in the room TV. No satellite channels or internet were available in the rooms. There is only payable (3 Euros per half hour) internet in the hotel lobby; one could expect more of a 4 star hotel. One can find free internet (wi-fi) in a nearby restaurant/bar (Casa Paco). The breakfast and the dinner buffets were ok but without much variety; after 3 days it always tasted the same. The walls sound insulation was not very good. It was difficult to sleep when people in the other rooms were speaking loud. In some nights people made lots of noise in the corridor after 1 AM; specially when there was animation in the bar. The bar is near the pool, so the animation sound was audible in the room even with the balcony door closed. The beach nearest the hotel (200 m) is under rehabilitation: there is no sand, just rocks. There is a good Mar Menor beach 600m from the hotel: Playa Chica. In my opinion the best nearby Mediterranean beach is 1.2 km away in Venesiola direction, near Residencial Dos Mares.
