we had visited the hotel before. Staff are all pleasant and helpful especially Vivienne the receptionist who has been there a long time and is english. the hotel is in a good location and just across the road from the sandy beach. Good for getting around the Costa Brava and we enjoyed walks to Pineda, Calella and Blanes as it is nice and flat. Public transport is good for getting further afield like LLoret de mar and a return on train to Barcelona was just 7 euros 70.
The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. A nice pool area. The food was very good indeed and much improved on a few years back.
We will return. The only one thing I would suggest for an improvement would be some english speaking TV channels. There was only Eurosport which is rubbish. Not even an english speaking news channel. That aside the hotel is well worth a visit.

Overall we were really impressed with the hotel. The rooms were adequate, although the bathroom could have been cleaner. We were lucky enough to have a sea view and our balcony ovelooked then entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful and the entertainment was great fun.

The pool area was clean, athough the pool was in the shade and never really warmed up. No one could spend more than five minutes in the pool at one time.

The location was perfect....close to the shops, beach and train station. Overall we would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

second visit to the hotel and still found it to be very good allround friendly staff good food and excellent entertainment

Been going to this hotel since 1988, i travel with my husband i am disbaled and have no problems with hotel they cater for the needs of wheelchair access. We stopped for 2 wks and enjoyed all the members of the staff from reception girls vivan, annette mariecarmen to the bar staff , dinig room staff to chambermaids, they are all very helpfull and polite. The hotel is near the beach and surrounding area is on a flat so is easy to move around in the wheelchair. The rooms are very clean and cleaned on a day to day basis. The food is fantastic and cater's for all taste's, if you need somewhere quite to sit the lounge's are comfy, the bar area is clean and has a realaxing atmosphere, or if you wish to sit outside there is a large seating area, over looking the promanarde. Overall this hotel is clean, tidy, friendly, and has a family feel.
