“Absolutely Charming & Special”

We were pleasantly surprised by this jewel of a place and the owners. We had a one night stop over in Manzanares as we drove to Portugal from Geneva for our summer holiday. It was a wonderful one night stop over at Antigua Casa de la Bodega. The owners welcomed us and our golden retreiver so warmly and openly. The room was spotless and so fresh, which was wonderful after a long day in the car. There is a sweet little area with a swimming pool where we cooled off as it was super hot. he owners gave us tips on where to go in Manzanares that evening, and we were surprised to find a beautiful village square full of families enjoying the warm evening. Breakfast was served in the shaded veranda, with much care. The house is beautifully decorated and we were extremely relaxed by the time we left in the morning. We recommend this place very highly.

“An Absolute Jewel”

This hotel, a converted Bodega, took us by complete surprise. It is full of old world charm and the proprietors take great care and pride in it's keep. We stayed here on our way down to Andalusia and what a well worth stop-over it was. I couldn't find any reviews on this hotel prior, and it's a bit puzzling as to why. You will not find nicer accommodations anywhere in the area. We had our choice of two very moderately priced rooms (which includes a lovely breakfast with the price) - one being off a lovely patio garden and the other upstairs in the main hotel. We picked the one upstairs - both had lovely bed linens and very luxurious bath with all the bath accessories you may need. The condition was pristine and we had our own small reading lounge just outside the room. Wifi was also free at this quaint 5 room hotel. Although there is no restaurant here, there are plenty of restaurants and tapas bars within walking distance and we had no problem finding one for dinner that night. Breakfast the next morning was served in the dining area (in warm weather, you can choose to have it out on the patio), with lovely china, linens and fresh baked pastries, fresh orange juice and coffee. The owner offered all the guests a complimentary bottle of wine from their vineyard as a parting gift. Fantasic hotel - one of our favorites during our 2 week trip.

“Quite staing in former vinery”

We stayed at the hotel for one night. We looked for a place between Cordoba and Toledo, so we wouldn't have to spend whole night on road. It was not just wise dessision, but it turend out, that we spend that night in beautiful and plesant place.
The owners, husband and wife, are very nice and helpul people. They run a clean, stylesh place in what used to be a vinery [--] Each room is desined in different couller - we got lilach.
The continental breackfast is included. But unlike in regular hotels, this is very presonal attitude, even during the breackfast.
There is no problem with parking. It's a small town, more like village, and there is planty of parking space on the street infront of the hotel.
I wish you could stay there longer, so we could also discaver the town of Manzanares and surrounding, which seems to be very interestin based on brochures we saw at the hotel.
