We stayed in this hotel for a week in October half term on a self-catering basis. We had a great room overlooking the pool on the third floor. It looked a little basic at first, but we really enjoyed staying there as the week went on. There was a small kitchen area in the main room, this room also had a TV, microwave oven, fridge, two sofa beds, good sized wardrobe, table and chairs. Sliding doors led from this room to a small balcony. Then there was a good sized bedroom with twin or double bed, and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
We had read previous reviews that kettles are not provided, forgot to take a travel one, but managed perfectly well by boiling water in a small sauce pan. There is a good sized supermarket between the hotel and the main road. Santa Eulaila has a great range of resturants, and small shops. The hotel is in a great position near to the beach, some of the waterfront cafes are ok, but there are better and more reasonable places to eat in the town. Avoid Peir 1 in particular, over priced and poor quality food, but we heartily recomend Ramblas and Royalty.
The hotel has a decent pool and plenty of sunloungers, but we prefered the beach, walking and sightseeing.
The only reason I can't give the hotel 5 stars is that it is noisy. We were disturbed at different times by other noisy guests around the pool at night, toilets flushing in neighbouring rooms, and people moving around in the room above us. If you're next to someone getting the family up for an earily flight it sounds like the water is running in your bathroom are they all shower and use the toilet! Although there are notices asking guests to be considerate and keep the noise down at night, this did not stop a group of other hotel guests from spending every night laughing and the tops of their voices every 5 minutes nightly until about 2am!
Never the less, we had a great week for a budget price and we would stay there again.
