“Loved every second of it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2011

We just got back over a week ago from a fantastic 5 nights here. The staff are truly fantastic & honestly couldn’t have done any more. We arrived really late on a Saturday night only to be greeted by two friendly faces (French who spoke perfect English) and the amazing Zia (possibly spelling this wrong) the one yr old dog. They brought our bags to the room & immediately set about preparing us some food & drink despite the kitchen being closed!

The room was perfect. We were in room no 7 which was one of their suites. It was huge, bright, airy, well equipped, great bedding, towels, TV, lighting, wardrobe space... I could go on. If I was being really picky I expected a bath but it really didn’t matter in the end.

The grounds, common area's & rooms are extremely well kept by the fantastic friendly staff who all appear to get along great too!

There are two pools in Les Terrasses both of which never had more than another couple lounging about.

Lunch was incredible, breakfast just right (nice & light & served all day!) & evening drinks a real treat.

It was my husband’s 30th whilst we were her & whilst we were out for dinner Frederique or another one of the great staff put a bottle of complimentary Moet in an ice bucket along with some flutes in our room for our return. Great touch!

Ensure you hire a car whilst staying here if you want to get around. It's not within walking distance to anything which really didn’t bother us but it might annoy others. We had a car for the full stay but could easily have left the beaches alone and chilled out in Les Terrasses, getting cabs out at night.

You are never more than 20mins max away from anything plus you have some great beaches within a 5-10min drive.

Enjoy!

Room Tip: Book room number 7 or the one directly infront (sorry dont remember the number)

“The French Evolution”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 July 2011

What do we know generally about the french? A certain style in clothing? exquisite cooking and flair for all things cultured? We arrived at the pretty little courtyard via the back door as it wasn't clear where the entrance was. The charming young french waitress escorted us to our wrought iron chairs and table. Stereotypically 'quirky' and far from ideal for relaxing over a long romantic dinner. But it was fairly comfortable somehow, and soon our attentions began to appreciate the details that the french are so often famed for in the media. White embroidered table cloths serving as the backdrop to vintage silver cutlery and mis matched bone china plates illustrated with delicate flowers and embossed heraldic inspired motifs surrounding the diameter.
The summer air was filled with the aroma of Gallic musk which wafted curiously over the chitter chatter of french diners enjoying the romantic lantern-lit terrasse.
Regards the famed french cooking, A petite menu on one sheet of A4 was just right, changing daily and like the revolution in Paris, broke with tradition and offered us a few alternatives from the classics.
Thai salad, (off with their heads I hear you cry) delicious though, spicey, fruity with coriander, mint, delicate hints of soy sauce and chilli. France however isn't completely disregarded, my main course was classic, provincial Provencal cooking, white fish with mashed potatoes, cherry tomatoes, garlicky Aioli and Fennel, perfectly simple. To finish a chocolate macaroon to eat in the hand. My partner had egg plants with homemade Jam smothered over the top which was brought together like an early Picasso, strange at first, yet balanced.
Drinks, no Champagne to be had here which was disappointing but their Cava had decent body and length and is good value. The small wine list just got past the acceptable level of entries for price range and styles and I typically chose one of their least interesting spanish wines. The only blip on our evening. It was refreshing to be in the company of only french people at Les Terrasses and the cooking was among our 2 favourites dining experiences in our 10 day trip to the mostly mediocre cooking landscape that is Ibiza.

“Les Terrasses rural luxury”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 March 2011

What I remember most about Les Terrasses is how tastefully it was decorated. I would describe it as eclectic, stylish and cozy. The rooms are spacious and they all enjoy a great view especially at sunsets. This is our first time to experience an agro-tourism hotel and it was a wonderful experience. It offers a nice break from the party atmosphere in Ibiza, a place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The staff was welcoming and the owner was charming. The kitchen serves excellent food and you should have dinner there at least once and do not miss out on dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Les Terrasses and we plan to go back again.

“French Paradise in a Spanish Isle”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2010

We stayed at Les Terrasses for 10 wonderful days.
The location is paradise, the rooms are simply lovely and the staff delightful. French chic exudes - the al fresco dining, with lights like dainty flowers hanging from the surrounding flora, is a sight worthy of the finest artist painting.
All the staff were wonderful; Peter, Raphael, Raphael's mum (the owner), Roshan, but most of all Frederique.
When you stay at Les Terrasses, you are not staying in a hotel, but are truly a guest in a beautiful home.
I was genuinely sad to leave, and just know that I will be back.

“Perfect”

A beautiful hotel in a tranquil location. The rooms are set into the hillside amongst fragrant orange and lemon trees. We were stranded there for five extra days due to the volcanic disruption but the outstandingly delicious home-cooked food alleviated our difficulties! The rooms are stylish and minimalist with a Moroccan touch. All the staff were delightful and the owner, Francoise, was extremely helpful. A truly lovely place for quiet relaxation.
