Stayed at hotel for 10 nights in August 2005.
Our 1st visit to Ibiza and we were very impressed. Ibiza is famous for its 'clubbing' and 'new age' entertainment, but you would never know it from this peaceful resort.

Positives
* Quiet, refined, small hotel. Very friendly staff. Pleasant pool area. Always seemed tranquil.
* Next door to glorious sandy beach (Cala Pada) with watersports and several beach bars. Also handy and efficient water bus/excursion stop
* Easy access to Santa Eulalia - family resort with bit of style and plenty of restaurants
* Ibiza Town has interesting historic town walls and great vibrancy
* Island has pretty scenery and bays

Watchouts
* S'Argamassa isn't really a resort - more an accommodation/beach area between Santa Eulalia and Es Canar. Limited restaurant options within walking distance of hotel
* Local road bus between two resorts never ran on time - hiring a car gave far more flexibility
* 'Hippy market' at Es Canar is cleverly marketed but we felt totally over-sold. A real crush we would have happily missed.

My wife & I and 2 children stayed at the hotel for 6 nights, it was clean and tidy with good size rooms the staff are very helpfull . There is a nice beach with a shallow bay just a short walk away. there are a number of resturants on the beach the best being the "Biras" where you get a genuine welcome .. unlike Rias Bar where you get no welcome and very poor food... all in all a safe bet & great family Hotel.

My girlfreind and I stayed at the SÁrgamassa Palace in August of this year for week...this was just great!

I stayed in S'argamassa Palace twice and both times I had a blast! The hotel and the staff are great, the rooms are great, the only problem is that it is too expensive! But I loved it, it is a peacefull place where you can survive you hang overs from last night partying. The pool is also great and I've never seen more then 8 people in the pool, what is great for those who hate pools with dozens of drunk people screaming. The city where it is located is also adorable and not far from Ibiza, only ten minutes driving.
