“rude, un helpfull staff, unless you were german of course”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2009

right i went with an open mind as you have to when it is somewhere new. the complex it self is very nice and the pool area is gourgeous, but if you english your not welcome up there as we went once and were given the look as if how dare you come here. in tue gherman style towels were out at the crack of dawn and the staff didn communicate withyou unless you shouted and made a point about what you needed. its all geared up for the germans and can honestly say they have changed ny impression of them. and all this bad press about the british...its nothing as the germans are just as bad if not worse. please dont go there if you a family or wanting 18-30's as all th info is in german and all the activities are aswell and the rooms are like ovens with windows. the food was ok but the staff and the germans arnt worth the holiday. all in all a real dissipointment!!

“Don't go (unless you are german and 18-25)”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2009

We ended up there as one of two hotels recommended by Viajes Iberia (Gran Vía, Madrid). No idea how on earth they could offer anyone such an uncomfortable hotel.

- No air conditioning in our room
- Even, NO SOAP or shampoo in our room!
- Didn't clean our room.
- When we got there, they had no idea about our reservation.
- Mediocre restaurant. Mediocre food, just soft drinks are included, under average breakfast.
- Clueless staff at reception desk. Only one 60ish blonde woman and a young 30ish girl had any idea... To the rest of the staff, any task becomes an ordeal (renewing your card for your room, trying to find your reservation, deal with the tour operator...)
- Sleep at night? Just imagine dozens of drunk German adolescents on a saturday night at Ibiza...
- No wifi

I would never go back there.
The only good thing about the hotel is... the photographer: DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURES in their website, nothing to do with reality... For instance: swimming pool is more like a jacuzzi. And full of german adolescents, drinking, with their sunglasses on, listening to some house music,... hilarious. Normal for teenagers, a funny situation seen being an spectator of the whole thing.
As someone at Trip Advisor said, it's very very basic.

“Made the most of a bad job!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2008

My husband and I have just returned from the Punta Arabi. I booked this through Thomas Cook website and no where on their site did it state that this was a 100% German 18-30 hotel. After reading some reviews I rang Thomas Cook about changing hotel and was told there would be a min £40 each admin charge and that I would have to scour website and find available accom. myself. Gave up as prices had rocketed. On arrival at Ibiza at 4.30am I asked the rep about moving but was told would have to pay 400 euro. Made it to the hotel and was given an info sheet and a map in German and sent off to find our room. I must say we were luckier than other Brits as we actually had a bigger room with Air Con!! The German kids around us were not too bad and we managed to sleep well most nights-not the case for other Brits we met-fire extinguishers being set off and just constant noise all night long. I am 46 and my husband is 60 so you can imagine how we felt around the pool! I am not a killjoy by any means-I have sons aged 24 and 22 so am used to young people but the noise, games and simulated sex did nothing for me! Gave it a day and a half and then found a nice beach and a pool at the Zodiac Hotel which was available for anyone to use for 4euros a day. The food was OK but their pricing was stupid-one price for all inclusive (surely not AI then!) another price if you had put money on your room card and another price for cash! Be very careful at the Hippy Market as there are loads of pickpockets about. We did complain to our rep-Kev-when he eventually turned up at 11 after I had rung the office and asked why he hadn't turned up between 9and 10 as stated. He stank of booze and was worse than useless. I will be complaining further to Thomas Cook as there is no way this hotel should be sold to Brits.

As member of azuLine Hotels, chain hotel where belongs the Club Punta Arabí, I would like to apologise for the inconveniences suffered in your recent Ibiza Holyday.
However I would like to enphasize that work done buy Touroperators goes beyond our responsability even we try hard to control every step.
