Rooms very good , we had a junior suite. A suite commonly describes a key feature being multiple rooms, this didn’t have multiple rooms, it had an entrance, bathroom to one side bedroom to the other. However it was very good and as portrayed on the website. A very good room, excellent views, well looked after. A few bedrooms look over the back, pool side is a better view.
The hotel grounds and pool area all worked fine, enough sunbeds but then the hotel was not very full. Didn't matter as hotel not full but half the lifts did not work.
All the staff were very polite and helpful, no problems there at all. We really thought they were good, perhaps for 5 star some may need slight assistance with training, better to say when they have not understood you "pardon" as oppoed to "what". Very small point, but if you have 5 stars small points get noticed.
The roof top “Air Ibiza” has a bar, a pool and tapas restaurant. An excellent area with great views and chilled out seating. It was open from 7pm. We thought the pool and bar should have been open during the day. The Tapas restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. A fanastic plus for the hotel, great area.
Occasional bit of live music noise and jolly fun later on at night to be heard from the nearby 3 star hotel over our quieter chilled out background music, but not too loud and didn't bother us.
Easy to walk into Santa Eularia, very middle of the road resort, all ok. Being able to take a boat into Ibiza Town from there was a bonus.
Not sure if I would have stuck a 5 star hotel in that position – nothing wrong with the position – just that the chilled out atmosphere the hotel tries to create (and goes a long way to succeeding), doesn’t tally 100% with the setting, others may disagree..
