This is a comfortable hotel which is ideally placed for the beach and for access to the port and the volcano. We arrived early (check in was at 2pm) and the room was ready at 11am. The service was personal and all staff seemed to say hello. The pool was outstanding, albeit a little deep, but had an excellent backdrop of Vulcano crater. The beach was literally a step outside the hotel and private with plenty of space. The hotel offer a good service to collect you from the port and drop you back there to catch your ferry. Make sure you contact the reception and let them know when you are arriving! The food was to a good standard though the restaurant was more expensive than restaurants in the main port area. The breakfasts were substantial and i would recommend a buffet breakfast, offering both hot food, continental breakfast and cake! The only criticism i would have is that room decor is a little old, and the bathroom we had in our room was tiny, especially the shower unit. However, this should not detract you from staying in what is a nice place. The location of the hotel is also great for the local mudpools and hikes up Vulcano. I would recommend this hotel!
