We stayed for one night as we had an appointment nearby.
The hotel has good off road parking in the private car park in front of the hotel. The welcome was extremely friendly and check in efficient. We had room 28 which is the superior room with private balcony, a large room with comfortable bed, large flat screen TV, mini bar, free mineral water and a view of the garden at the back of the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was ok, with a very good strong shower.
The hotel also has WiFi.
The breakfast had a good choice of fresh bread, meat, cheese, fruit, yoghurt etc.
Restaurant Hubertus attached to the hotel is privately run, it had a fantastic menu, great food and good prices.
We would stay here again if we are in the Gernsheim area, which is fairly likely
