I was looking for a hotel to stay in near Toulouse Airport as I had a very early flight the next day.I did a quick lookup on Venere and it recommended this hotel. As I did not have the time to check on Tripadvisor ( and it turns out - I would have found nothing ),I was somewhat concerned about what I was going to find.
Apart from the location this is a very nice 3 star hotel ( the location is on the way to the 'Dechetterie' i.e. rubbish dump ) and in a quite industrial suburb of Toulouse. However it is 10 minutes from the airport, and we got the rooms at €90 each room.
The hotel feels very new, and was absolutely spotless. There was a swimming pool, and a resteraunt just across the car park. The rooms are very stylish, and the shower was rainfall, and side squirters and all. The sink was a glass bowl on a shelf style, and the bath was spotless. There was a TV in the room that has the BBC 24 hour news service ( and Sky News too ).
The thing that was outstanding was the staff. When we arrived I asked for two rooms next to each other as my husband and I would be in one and our kids in the other. This was a suprise for the receptionist ( I hadnt requested it in advance, and she spent a couple of minutes working out which rooms would be the best ). She came up with a very good solution. We went up to the rooms and unpacked, and then went out into Toulouse. When we returned later, there was a complimentary bottle of wine and fresh fruit in each room. ( Which concidering we were paying €90 for a room that should have been €135 was very nice ).
We also asked if we could eat in the resteraunt that night , and the receptionist said that the resteraunt was full but she would ask if we could be accomodated. She went and spoke with someone and came back and said yes we could have a table. That evening the resteraunt was obviously catering for some large event. There were over 200 people in a large room at the back. The other diners ( just 6 tables) were in a separate room at the front. The resteraunt was great too. We finally left the hotel at 5:30 in the morning to make our flight, and the receptionist on at that time was just as pleasant as the others in the day, and was very concerned that we had liked the hotel and had had a good stay.
This hotel is not in the centre of town and maybe is not suitable for tourists. I imagine a lot of their business is with people working at Airbus or one of the local industries. However if you need to be in that part of town, or need somewhere for easy access to the airport I recommend it. I would be very happy to stay there again.
