Been to CP in both UK and this one- great breaks when kids were small, even better now they are older. It's cheaper-Much cheaper during the schoo holidays. Book early for good discounts. We have stayed in the pemium cottage- bedding included which it isn't in Comfort plus a dishwasher. Hob and micro but no oven- we coped! It's fine. In fact if you have been to the UK it all feels very familiar, accomodation and the pool complex.
There is more to do for nothing- Discovery Dome& kids farm and frankly it feels more relaxed than the UK, where it feels like all CP wants to do is get hold of your cash. Eating out- there are less options but the kids meals are good value and it doesnt feel so much of a scrum at meal times. The all inclusive meals look pricey.First time we went we booked the breakfast package which did us lunch as well! in the VIP s you get a sauna and rolls and coissants delivered for brekkie- nice!
Water rapids- they seem very relaxed about letting small kids go down them rather than in the UK having 500 warning notices about no under 8s. As a result everyone seems to be sensible about it. Zip wire activity is amazing but book before you go.Canoes on lake likewise- tennis and babminton feel pricey ( same as the UK) Bike hire is dear- as the UK. Take bikes. You pay for booking online- but get an e ticket and waft straight in picking up anything you have pre booked at the same time. Pre booking on the phone was easy and straight forward.Online you can buy CP vouchers in Euros to spend and they give you 10% free. So fancy going to a better place for half the cash?
