Ignore all the negative comments. This is the third time we've (me and my two kids 14 and 7) visited this particular Center Parcs and we will be going back. We've not encountered any of the problems stated in any of the other reviews.
Just stop and think about what you are getting. We paid €650 for a premium cottage for a week's stay during the UK school summer break. That's for a fully equipped dwelling with two double bedrooms, living area, kitchen, bathroom & loo. In the living room there's a flatscreen TV with HDMI for your games console (worth taking if you have one) and a home movie unit. There's a second TV in one of the bedrooms. Also take your laptop as all cottages have Wi-Fi. As well having access for emails etc., you can even play online with your friends if you wish!
Dont forget the price includes free access to some facilities e.g. Aqua Mundo and Discovery Cove. If your children are under 12 or so they will want to spend most of their time in these two places while you relax assuming you don't wish to join them!
The key to a successful visit to Center Parcs is planning. Look at the park map and choose your location based on your needs. Balance proximity to the Market Dome against other requirements e.g. privacy or outside play facilities (of which there are plenty).
You can save money by taking food with you. Especially for easily prepared meals e.g. pasta or rice based meals. Stop on the way at a local LIDL or similar for frozen goods.
I can't imagine ever staying at a UK Center Parcs. The typical cost of a European site is half that of a UK one and, ven when the cost of getting there, it is still a saving of hundreds of pounds/euros. And yes, doesn't matter where you go, all the staff speak English.
If you are not happy with the European approach e.g. buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner then stay in the UK and waste money but don't moan because it is different.

we enjoyed our holiday but found this site lacking in outdoor play areas for children and the villa was smoky and grubby. we moved from the first to another which was slightly better. after 30 minutes in the firts villa i was feeling nauseous! It was a kids villa with bunk beds and childrens toys - OK but the carpet was filthy!

That being said - the Aqua Mindo was great despite having very feq family changing cubicles and the Discovery bay indoor play area was excellent.

Wouldn't go to this parc again though

we have just returned after giving a week in the Park, we travelled with our own three children age from 5 yr to 2 yrs. Also with us was my two brothers and my sister familes all who have children in around the same age. We had a great week the faciliates are great, the aquamundo is a bit smaller than the one in Certer Parcs Lac De Lallittee in France but it was still super and never got too busy, we always mangaed to get seats near the kids pool where our kids spend alot of their time. The Pirate Bay which is a seperate building was a huge hit and the kids wanted to go every day even though we did manage it with all that we had to do around the park. The prices for the activites in the park are very resonable and between us all we used quite a lot of them including the high adventure, canoning on the lake, zip wire, wind surfing and the archery, the kids also went on the pirate treasure hunt in pirate bay which was excellent the staff here were superb and the kids loved them 1.5hrs only cost €6 per child.
The food was reasonably priced and there was a resonably good selection although we cooked in the house ourselves quite a bit as we had brought food with us. there is a good supermarket and although a bit expensive was very handy for the extra bits and it accpets laser as do all of the shops and bars etc in the village there is also a cash machine on site. There is a supermarket in the village near by JUMBO which is very good, but just bear in mind it only takes laser cards from Belgium or Netherlands you will need to bring cash if traveling from outside these countries.
All in all would highly recommend this as a destination and our eldest kid is really only now getting old enough to start to really make use of all the facilaites but they still loved it, i can see use visiting center parcs ever year for the forseeable future. The Europe Center Parcs that is as they are about half the price of the UK villages and this easily makes up for the time spend travelling, we normally drive, but my sister and brother flew to Eindohoven and hired a car however they said they would not bother hireing a car in future but organise a taxi as it is not that far and would work out cheaper.

went there last november for a football tournament..me and my friends loved it...loads 2 do during daytime..swimming and all around snow...the best.a bit disappointing night life but cant have it all....
