We stayed here as a one night layover. The rooms do not have air conditioning and they are really hot. Cant sleep.

Use this Hotel as a base to make your appiontments inn and arround Vienna. Good food, nice personel. Price and service are right! No Airco is a problem only at the Hot day's, But notice the hotel is in a pretty bussy area near the airport and know by a lot off travellers so deal with that. Rooms ar indeed simple but good and clean! I'm using this Hotel for three years for my work in Vienna and still love it!

Stayed in this hotel for one night in July 2009. The hotel is OK, but there is one thing that ruined my stay: the lack of air conditioning. Yes, they don't claim to have it neither on their web site, nor in the room description. But when one sees the sign "4 star hotel" the presence of air conditioning is sort of expected.
Opening the window didn't help. Not only there are mosquitoes outside (all windows have nets through) but we could clearly hear planes taking off. Also there was some construction on the street, so some machinery started working VERY loud around 5AM. Hence, we couldn't sleep whether the window was closed (too hot) or open (too loud).
The hotel is located next door to huge oil refinery. While the smell didn't reach the hotel, it was very distinct on the way to it. Overall, I would not recommend staying at "Das Reinisch". I think they should first put air conditioning in place than claim to be four stars...

We booked this hotel via internet and went there. They asked us payment in advance and only after payment (by credit card), they told us that the rooms were not located in the same hotel, but in another building at more than 300 meters from there. Well, we reached this building, entered with some difficulties (door closed, no light in there...). The rooms were very very inhospitable, bath room very small, no frigo bar in the room, TV with only local channels (only in german), the bed was very unconfortable. Breakfast: we asked for a coffie and the answer was: "You have to go to the main building" (300 meters far away)!!!
This hotel is declared as 4 stars, but we never have seen something like that, even in hotels declared as lower category!!!!
