This is a big hotel and the hotel itself was well equiped and placed. The room was of good quality. The reception staff could not be better but the whole thing was let down by the restaurant. The evening meal we were told was from 6.30pm to 9 pm. What we did not realise was this meant, as far as the waiters were concerned, that it had to be started after 6.30pm and finished before 9pm. One evening when we were running late the waiter wanted to bring the main course before we had finished the previous one. This is the first hotel that I stayed in that refused to supply tap water with a meal. The only water allowed at meal times was bottled water. The half bottle of wine left from the evening before was never placed on the table and had to be asked for. The main course I would class at the level of canteen food. Bread with the meal was never offered and we were never asked if we wanted coffee on completion of the meal (surprising since this was a loss of revenue).
If you are looking for a hotel where part of the holiday is to have a good quality relaxing evening meal then this hotel is not for you.

I flew from Canada to join my Irish cousins on a ski trip to Austria. Check-in was "efficient' and I was assigned a nice room on the first (European) floor. However, it quickly became apparent that room was very noisy as it was right in front of the elevator. All other guest rooms on the floor were some distance from the elevator foyer and and the foyer is isolated by glass doors. After spending one night in the room I realized that I would not get a good nights sleep without earplugs.
I approached the front desk and requested a change of room to a quieter location. I was informed that an equivalent room would not be available until after the weekend. On Monday morning, after two nights in my noisey room, I again approached the front desk. This time I was shown a tiny room at the very end of a hallway. Although, no doubt, the room would have been quieter, I had the feeling that reception was giving me a message about asking for a room change. When I politely requested a room of similiar size as the room I had been assigned the reception manager interviened and told me that my assigned room was actually an "upgrade" (although no one informed me at check-in), and any room change would be to an inferior room. He also informed me that there were no rooms of an equivant size available, despite that it was apparent, from the number of skis in the ski room and the number of patrons in the restaurant, that a large number of guests had checked out, and consequently, more rooms were available. His manner was crisp and dismissive. I had the distinct feeling that I was being punished for having the audacity to request a room change.
Overall, this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. The restaurant, bar and cleaning staff are friendly and inviting, as are some of the front end staff. However, there appears to be a reception management culture that is more concerned with efficiency than "hospitality."
A feeling of being welcome and, within reason, being accommodated, is paramount to guest satisfaction. My experience with reception management left me feeling that, as a result of requesting a room change, I was viewed as an irritant rather than a valued guest.
Tip: For a good night sleep do not stay in rooms 615, 715 or 815.

Our company organized an infromal teambullding in this hotel in January 2011 for 20 people. The hotel looks beatiful from the outside and is situated on a small hill n a quit and nice place.
Unfortunatelly, the hotel itself is quite different from pictures and official description on webl. Rooms and especially bathrooms have not been renovated for decades, the wellness center doesn´t seem to be the cleanest one and dinner was definitelly one big disapointment. The only bar closes at 11pm, there is no possibility for other activities like table tennis etc. The whole hotel works as one big sauna - very hot inside, the only chance was to sleep with open windows since the temprature in the rooms was not possible to lower.
The hotel staff tries to be friendly but is mostly confused. The hotel is very popular among Russian clients..
Positive things..breakfast and skibus from the hotel (but not sufficient for a bigger group).

Staff excellent and very helpful.
Rooms large well appointed and well insulated for noise..
In fact my only complaint centres on the food.Hot food at breakfast was never more than warm.
Evening meal was unimaginative.
If the food was improved this would be an excellent hotel.
Perhaps they are trying to cut costs at the expense of quality and even though we were part of a group we were served the same meal as individual bookingsIt was not a case of fobbing off groups with inferior food.
