“Outstanding in every way! A fabulous place to stay!”

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate out 25th wedding anniversary in June. Everything about the hotel really was superb and we had such a truly wonderful and memorable time. A foodie and scenery lovers heaven!
It must be hard for independant hotels to beat the standards set by the high-end chains such as Four Seasons, Six Senses etc, but Der Krallerhof really blew us away with the quality and determination to wow the guest and manages to deliver exceptional standards and quality throughout.
The location is stunning with the Alps backdrop taking our breath away every moment we were there and the design of the resort along with some of the most imaginative and contemporary room designs we have come across really showed the level of thought and real care that has gone into making this place one of our favourites!
Outstanding service plus incredible food along with such superb facilities made us so sad to leave and so determined to go back! Leogang and Austria may not be the usual obvious choice for holidays but this hotel and the scenery delivered on every level.
We loved it and will definitely return!!
Thanks to the team for making our Silver Wedding so memorable!!

“Amazing Haven of Tranquillity”

I have been going to Austria for an Easter break for several years and every time I have stayed a couple of nights at Der Krallerhof. It is an absolute gem!!! This is a lovely family-run hotel, a wonderful place for relaxation in a beautiful setting.

The rooms are stunning and beautifully designed. Last time I stayed in one of the recently renovated single rooms. The walls and flooring were of wood, the couch and carpet silver-colour, the bathroom was fantastic. I slept really well.

Food is always excellent and very high quality. I love the Krallerhof breakfast müsli! Dinner is a real gourmet experience.

The spa (Refugium) is simply stunning, out of this world. Several saunas, a large indoor swimming pool, sun loungers, relaxation rooms. The spa has been recently extended and now also includes a heated outdoor swimming pool with wonderful views of the mountains.

The staff have always been very friendly and helpful. They really make you feel like at home. When I arrived I was given a welcome drink and at leaving a nice leaving present. The owners of the hotel are actively involved in running it and know personally regular guests who have been going there for several years.

This hotel is a wonderful place for pure relaxation. There is a plenty to do there both in summer and in winter if you like sports and being active, lots of nice places to visit nearby. It is better to have a car to get around, but it is such a stunning place that you could just end up spending several days lazing around in bathrobe not wanting to leave…!

I will be going to the Krallerhof again very soon…

“5 star quality!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 March 2011

"WOW" is all i can say!

This hotel is amazing!

I have stayed in the last couple of years more than once! And every time i have been surprised how amazing this hotel is!

The Spa is amazing, there is a couple of different saunas and every single one is different, the best was the honey sauna where you put honey on you face, hands or anywhere else on you body and the skin felt so soft afterwards.

The rooms where stunning, i slept so well!

The food is a class of it own, it was just really, really good and diverse.

We tend to go to this hotel to go skiing and the best is you can rent at the hotel which makes it very convenient!

The staff is nice and very quick, one evening there was something wrong with our light and we told them, 30 minutes later we went up to our room and it was fixed!

I am always happy to go back, and i hope the service stays this good!

“Amazingly high quality hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2010

Our company hold half yearly kick off meetings and we've been to some excellent places in the time I've worked for them, but the Krallerhof in Leogang was just about the best.

Situated on the bottom of a ski slope there was no snow at ground leve in August, but no doubt there would be ski to the door access. Views of the surrounding mountains are stunning - If you like this kind of scenery (I do!) you will love it.

The hotel itself is large and is really more of a Spa resort.

From my skiing holidays this is the kind of place I might sometimes stop at for an expensive snack lunch rather than stay in, but now I've seen how the other half live!

My room was a large double with a huge bathroom and an extensive balcony - I thought it massive until I saw some colleagues suites (they were sharing 2 to a suitee, but honestly I've stayed in smaller appartments for 4 or 5 people and certainly much less luxurious ones).

The whole hotel - public rooms, bars, pool, gym, suites, bedrooms and conference rooms - were all decorated, maintained and furnished to an amazingly high standard with the familiar timber of Austrian buildings very prominent - Although it's large, it feels cozy, like a small Austrian gasthof!

Food, from breakfast to dinner was unremittingly excellent.

If I could afford to stay here in the winter for a skiing holiday I would and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mountain getaway, whether romantic, sporty or business.

Only downside I can see is there's not much around locally unless you have some transport, but it's near to large resorts like Kitzbuhel, white water rafting and other mountain sports and Leogang is a little walk away.

All my colleagues were equal in their praise and almost awe at the location and quality of the Krallerhof.

“Pure relaxation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 October 2010

This hotel is a gem in the middle of nowhere and it is a perfect location for relaxation! Your reservation includes all meals and they are AMAZING! There is a great variety of foods for breakfast and lunch and dinner is a top-notch gourmet experience. The staff in the restaurant is great. The one area that could use a little work is the front desk experience - the staff there was very slow and could have done a better job explaining all the various offerings of the hotel (spa, hikes, etc).
