“Flying Visit - first class all the way”

Having experianced the pleasures of delayed luggage with Kenya Airways we didn't arrive here until later than planned, but from the moment we arrived the stress from that experiance just melted away from the first greeting to the all too quick farewell.
From trying to get the well-fed Bush babies to re-appear, to the wonderful food and drinks any of this would be enough for most Hotels, but combined with the "hobbit" like accomodation that opened up onto the gorgeous and welcoming views of the plains over the infinity pool the whole environment was a joy to experiance, what a great (albeit short) way to start a trip to Uganda.

“Luxury in the middle of nature”

I have recently returned from Uganda. I was lucky enough to get to spend one night at the Mihingo lodge. What an amazing place. The staff took excellent care of us while we were there. The view, amazing. The horseback safari was great fun. I wish I would have had more time to experience all that this lodge offered. I would fly back to Africa just to spend more time here.

“What a beautiful view”

I have recently returned from Uganda. I was lucky enough to get to spend one night at the Buhoma lodge. What an amazing place. The staff took excellent care of us while we were there. The view, amazing. The horseback safari was great fun. I wish I would have had more time to experience more of what this lodge offered. I would fly back to Africa just to spend more time here.

Just returned from Uganda where I stayed for 13 days. Mihingo lodge is a small lodge with few luxury tents settled in the lake mburo national park. The rooms are wide and very well refurbished, All of them have the view of the national park and very room is is close to nature (during the night you can hear the animals walking around your room also good bird songs.the service is professional and incredibly nice, Possible also to have massages in your room.
the food is good more than excellent. It was a holiday of a lifetime!

Room Tip: the room on the rock is more than perfect !!

“Special up close experience with wildlife”

This was a delightful lodge off the beaten track. I chose it because of its proximity to Kampala (an easy quality side trip) and its offering walking safaris right on the premises. The lodge is high quality and knowing that it has been designed with low environmental impact makes me like it even more. I found the cottages (luxury tented camps) quite beautiful and well cared for. The current managers, a young Scottish couple were more than helpful and pleasant to chat and share a meal with. I could have (and did) spend hours watching the hooved wildlife below at the waterhole via the scope in the main dining area and down at the blind. I hired a guide from the park to take me around. Fabulous walk with a knowledgeable local guide for only $10. If you have an extra day, visit Mihingo Lodge.
