We booked direct with the hotel full board. Initial impression a bit off putting as the hotel is set a long way from the car park so you have a bit of a walk through what is initially bare space but quickly becomes nice gardens. We were initially offered a room away from the beach but took the risk of the noise from activities and took one near the pool. It worked out but the hotel was pretty empty and I suspect it could be different if it were full and activities were in full swing. The pool and beach area are nice and I at least enjoyed a swim in both. The staff both hotel and animateurs were friendly and helpful. We normally avoid package hotels like the plague but with the hotel empty the activities weren't at all intrusive and in fact added to our stay. Room (for 4 persons) over two levels was old but nice. Balcony with a nice view over the gardens toward the pool and reception. Drains needed cleaning so shower was slow to empty but this is always a problem at the beach. Food (buffet) was average a small reasonably prepared selection that just lacked inspiration and coherence.
All in all a good stay and we will probably return if we can get a good deal again.
