Spent 3 nights here in Dec 2009 and it is by far the most plush place in this developing town. New owners this fall and the place appears to only be about 5 years old.

Fantastic bungalow style rooms are available. We had one with a roof top area with hammock. Pool area is beautiful and sits up on a hill with views out over the ocean. Customer service is fantastic; with the front desk and a few others speaking english (which is a big deal in northern Brazil). Even the smaller rooms would be great as everything is in a neatly packaged landscape.

Hotel is about 3 blocks off of Broadway (the main street with bars/dancing/food)

If you are looking for cheap, there are many other hotels available in Canoa... This one is a bit pricier but worth it.
