It was just horrible. The room was very dirty, I cleaned up bugs, spider webs & cob webs. The room had a kitchenette I opened the cupboards there were lots of little brown droppings in it. The room also had a sitting room with a sofa that the biggest rip in it right down the back of the cushion right in the middle the TV converter did not work & the battery was held in the back with a piece of electrical tape. The room smelled it has a very heavy musty smell just overwelming. The bed had a big board under the mattress hard to fall asleep with all the springs sticking in you. The walls of this hotel are paper thin the guy in the next room woke me up at 3 in the morning telling the girls how many times he had been to NY. The next moring I stepped out of our room only to see the people that had stayed there 2 rooms over burn rubber out of the parking lot with the women yelling how she could not sleep with all the noise I so completely agree with her. We went to grand bend for the motorplex big weekend. The only problem with this is that Grand Bend does not have nearly enought hotels for when such a big event goes on. As soon as my husband & I saw our room we jumped back in the car & went to look for something better. There was nothing everywhere else had a NO Vacancy sign so we had to stay here. The room was very expensive for what we got 150.00 canadian a night. Even the windows do not have proper curtins they have little tiny plastic clothes pins holding tea towels in place over the windows. All the furniture is very old broken, scratched, or chunks of it missing this place is just terrible & should be bulldozed. Would not recommend this to anyone you would have a better quiter & cleaner sleep on a park bench than in this place. The only clean thing in the place was the shower, the only reason it is clean is because it dos'nt work there was not enought water pressure to wash your hands. Also the toilet takes at least 1/2 hour between flushings no water pressure. Outside the door is a light that stays on you cannot shut it off everytime the door is opened hundreds of mosquitos & other flying bugs fly right into the room there is nothing one can do about it.
