Blue Heron Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful B&B located in the small town of Coal Harbour on the northern part of Vancouver Island. It has beautiful gardens, gorgeous views of Holberg Inlet and a cobble beach along which to walk.

Then there are the hosts, Arleigh and Barrie. We just cannot say enough nice things about them. They provided us with a warm welcome, and they made us feel like family by the time we left. Both Arleigh and Barrie are warm, interesting and will do anything to please you. We had a delicious breakfast of Belgian waffles with a homemade berry topping, fresh fruit and unbelievable scones.

In addition to bedrooms on the second floor, the lower level would be perfect for a family as it has a couple of bedrooms, a family room and a second kitchen for making meals. The entire Bed and Breakfast was beautifully decorated.

The views are beautiful and blue herons are actually outside your window each morning and sometimes orcas come up into the Inlet.

We could not be more enthusiastic about recommending the Blue Heron Bed and Breakfast. You cannot possible have anything but a wonderful stay with Arleigh and Barrie! We loved it!
