We had a planned trip to Zakynthos cancelled, and decided to travel to Sitia for a few days instead. We had no hotel booked, but found the Flisvos on the beach front. From entering and asked about room nothing other than helpfulness. We asked to see the room, escorted there, and decided it was good value.
Asked about breakfast and car parking, both were offered in the price which was discounted on request. The rooms were well appointed, quite and comfortable. There was internet access throughout the hotel, and with no charge either for air-con it was excellent. Maid service was first class. The hotel is split in two buildings, and we had room at the one furthest away from the beach, which would certainly been quieter during high-season.
Position of the hotel was excellent with plenty of sights and places to eat in a short distance. If we asked at reception for any guidance, it was given in good spirit and breakfast was a typical continental style, and plenty of choice. All round the hotel was well worth the money and excellent staff to ensure the stay was nothing other than memorable.

Stayed here for three nights in mid-May. The hotel is fairly basic and rooms not generous in size (furnishings reminded me of student-type accommodation). However, they were clean, the beds (small) were comfortable, and the plumbing worked. Daily maid service was satisfactory. Reception staff could have been a bit more cheerful. Continental breakfast was predictable and OK.. The hotel is well located by the harbour in Sitia, close to many restaurants and bars. Our rooms overlooked the front, and apart from wheelie-bin collection at 7am on the Monday, we were undisturbed by noise.
The hotel has a very small carpark to the rear, but there are public ones closeby. Not sure how safe cars would be if left the public ones. For car rental Minoan Tours car rental office is right next door to the Flisvos, and Michael was very helpful(and good price). Since we were out all day and only returning to the hotel to sleep, it was adequate, if not memorable.

My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon. The hotel is on the doorstep of the resort centre and beach but we were not troubled by noise at night
Our room was clean and pleasant, our only complaint was that we were accomodated in a twin room having specifically requested a double.
Breakfast was buffet style and pleantiful and we were even supplied with a take-away breakfast on our last morning as we had to leave early.
Staff were warm and responsive in manner
There is no pool but as the beach is just opposite this was not a problem

The hotel is very conveniently located in the centre of Sitia near restaurants and cafes.

There are two buildings, one with a view of the sea which can be rather noisy, as it overlooks the main street, and one behind which is considerably quiter - I suggest the latter if you have a choice. The two buildings are separated by a delightful garden which serves as the breakfast area as well. Quite charming.

My room was rather large and contained all the basic amenities one would expect (local TV, A/C, fridge and safe). The bathroom was on the small side, and there was a shower rather than a bathtub. However, it was very clean and towels were changed on a daily basis. There was no internet access, but an internet cafe is situated just round the corner, so that's not a big problem. There was also a surprisingly large balcony, with a view of the garden area.

The service was extremely friendly without lacking in professionalism. Check in and check out were efficient, and they were very helful in pointing out places to eat (and which restaurants to avoid).

As I was visiting in a 'low' season, I managed to get a remarkably low rate (35 Euros per day). Considering the standard of the hotel services, this made excellent value for money.
