A very good, comfortable, small budget hotel. It had everything we needed as a base to explore the town and surrounding area.
Our room was spacious and clean. We definitely needed the air conditioning overnight and in the afternoons - the fridge was useful to have too, and a TV was thrown in for the price of the aircon & fridge (although there was only one "interesting" English channel, Euronews, but we didn't come to Crete for the TV!)
The swimming pool on the roof was fairly large, and not busy; however the sunbathing area was a little basic and could do with smartening up a little.
There was one computer in the lobby, which could be used for internet access for a euro per half hour. The breakfast was simple but sufficient.
The weekly Greek music evening was fun, with some guests being invited to dance along with some of the staff!
The manager, Paris, was friendly and helpful (and stayed up especially to check us in when we arrived at 1am!)
Altogether, a very good hotel, which was great value!
