“A lovely setting, comfortable room, amazing breakfasts, gracious hosts.”

My husband and I traveled to France this July for the first time. We found the Provence area very beautiful. We stayed at Le Mas Parreal, and would definately stay there again. Kevin and Elisabeth were wonderful. The room was very nice with many extras available (fridge, dishes, picnic baskets, etc.) The breakfasts they served were amazing and the courtyard we ate in was beautiful. A great way to start your day! There are many villages to explore in the area. We had a wonderful time!

“Perfection in Provence”

This was my third or fourth stay at Le Mas Perreal. I plan to return this October, 2010. Kevin and Elizabeth make it the most romantic, sweet B&B in all of Provence. It is nestled
between a cherry orchard and vineyard on sprawling acres, under the watchful gaze of the town of St. Sauternin. Rent a car and you can access any place in Provence quickly
(love Isle Sur La Sorgue). The breakfasts are yummy and HUGE. The rooms are decorated
with country antiques and the bathrooms are ooh-la-la luscious. I plan to return again and again.

“What a find!!!”

We stumbled on Le Mas Perreal while looking for a base to see Luberon area - and how lucky we were!!!

From a winding road that leads to this self standing renovated old farm house (le mas in Provencal dialect, hence the name) in the middle of the vineyards to beautifully decorated very spacious room to the wonderful hosts Kevin and Elisabeth!

House and grounds around house are simply stunning (picures do not really give it a justice!). Elisabeth decorated everything in the French country style with antique furniture and loads of details, it looks wonderfully charming and authentic, that I was really surprised to find out she is not professional interior designer! One thing is for sure, if she wanted, she could be one!

Kevin and Elisabeth really thought of everything, providing the picnic baskets, little info booklets with recommended sites to visit and restaurants in area, a special community coffee and tea area, loads of books and travel guides… They personally make and serve a lovely breakfast (a mix American/ French with smoothies, croissants and eggs (or pancakes, depending on the day) on the patio or in a gorgeous dining area if the weather is not warm enough to eat outside.

We personally haven't used the pool (coming from Dubai, we found weather not to be warm enough), however the pool overlooks vineyards and the area is just wonderfully peaceful, perfect for reading a book or an afternoon nap.

In short, we really loved Le Mas Perreal and we can’t wait to come back!!

Two tips:
* Make sure you print out the map that Kevin emails you when you reserve a room, the area is very rural so there are no street names and numbers so GPS will not be very useful. However the map was excellent and we found Le Mas with no problems.

* We loved the restaurant Le Sanglier Paresseux in nearby village of Caseneuve. It is a good 20min drive, however well worth it! The food was simply glorious and ambiance wonderful as the terrace overlooks nearby valleys and the sunset. Very romantic! And an extremely good value for the quality of food served!

“Exceeded our expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 June 2010

WE spent 5 days of a 6 week holiday at Mas Perreal and we would have loved to stay longer.
Each morning we expectantly awoke to a different delicious breakfast cooked by Elisabeth and Kevin. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with either total privacy or enjoying the travel adventures of the other guests. The rooms although renovated with modern facilities had kept the charm of the old renovated farmhouse.
Despite the unseasonal wet weather we still enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, and it was lovely to come back to after a day of touring.
Kevin was always keen to help in sightseeing suggestions or to help in geting to our destination. We definitely would not have found the TGV train station in Avignon without his written and verbal directions!

“The 5 star reviews are all true...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 October 2009

... and possibly understated. Le Mas Perreal is fantastic. Elizabeth and Kevin are wonderful and very accomodating hosts, we felt perfectly at home. The Mas is beautiful and in a gorgeous setting. The breakfasts were works of art. Elizabeth and Kevin had excellent suggestions for sightseeing and dining in the area. St. Saturnin Les Apt is a pleasant 20 minute walk through Provence farmland. Our room was unique, clean, & very tastefully decorated and furnished.
As close to perfect as life gets.
