We stayed at Mas Pomona in September this year. From the moment we arrived until we left we had a great experience that we long to return for.

Marianne and David are extremely welcoming, friendly and provide all the helpful advice you could ask for. They also have an ability to blend away into the background and provide you with your own space, making you feel like Mas Pomona is your own.

The location is perfect for exploring the Luberon, right in the middle, with short drives out East to Rousillon, Bonniuex, etc and an even shorter drive West to the area of St Remy.

Breakfasts were enjoyable, with a selection of yogurts, breads, croissants and jams to die for - home made by Marianne. It's a great opportunity to talk through that day's plans with David and Marianne and get some tips for lunch and dinner; and yes, everything you read about their amazing recommendations is true.

We stayed in the Gold room, which was spacious, airy, had a great shower and beautiful views out on to the countryside. It also stayed surprisingly cool in the ~30 degree weather.

Mas Pomona has other great features including a relaxing pool area and a barbecue for guests to use. In fact, one of our favourite evenings was spent putting the barbecue to use and sitting in the garden area chatting over wine.

If we could do one thing differently, it would be to spend more of our time here! We can't wait to return.

We used Mas Pomona as our base for our first venture into the southern part of France - and we could not have been more pleased. David and Marianne are wonderful hosts with a wealth of knowledge on where to go and more importantly - where to eat. The outdoor kitchen is a fantastic place to hang out with a glass of wine. We even cooked our own dinner one night with provisions bought from the local butcher and vegetable market in Cheval Blanc. If you are thinking about staying in this area, you definately want to stay at Mas Pomona.

Just been to Mas Pomona again with friends for a relaxing break before the stress of moving house. Couldn't have picked a better spot. A perfect place for a chilling out weekend with friends. Completely secluded but within easy reach of delightful Provencal villages and excellent restaurants. The icing on the cake was David and Marianne's hospitality and an fascinating mix of guests with whom we chatted into the early hours sharing wine and nibbles. Bliss! Will be returning.
