This is another charming hotel in lovely Wimeraux. We love this little town as a long weekend getaway.
Last time we stayed at Le Carnot and decided ( for no particular reason) to have a change.
Neither hotel has a lift and are not recommeded for people who have difficulty climbing.
We stayed in room 24 which is a family room comprising a double or 5 ft downstairs and 2 singles upstairs. The upstairs room has a sloping ceiling and I would say is suitable for children between ages 7 and 15. As the stairs up and down are wooden the upstairs room would not be suitable for young children. There are 2 toilets, one up and one downstairs and a shower upstairs with bath and attached shower down,
The breakfast at 9 euroes was nice but well overpriced and I would avoid in future
dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent at about 100 euros for the thre of us including wine.
One drawback was the bar opposite which was noisy ( nothing serious but our sleep was disturbed) at about midnight on the friday and saturday.
Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel is a gentle walk to beach and benefits from a private car park. I think it is 4 euro a day.
The rooms were clean
