My husband and I stayed for 3 days at this hotel for Dinner bed and breakfast. The rate of 42 euros each per night was excellent value. Our room had beautiful views of the mountains and was just on the outskirts of the busy little town so we weren't disturbed by any traffic noise. When we arrived we were alarmed by the power cables next to the hotel but as these were at the side of the hotel it didn't spoil our view or the general ambiance of the hotel. Our room was large and had full length windows opening onto a nice balcony which had table and chairs. The furnishings in the room were basic but the room was spotlessly clean and everything worked well. The ensuite didn't have a shower that you could stand up in but was perfectly adequate. The public areas were well furnished with traditional French furniture. The staff were very friendly and the food in the restaurant was marvelous - choices were very limited and wouldn't suit fussy eaters but for us it was fantastic and beautifully fresh and well cooked. I would have no hesitation in reccommending this hotel to anyone, but bear in mind it is not the typical French characterless chain hotel. The area is superb for walking and for mountain sports and I can't wait to return.
