The other reviewers are correct - it's a great location. Right next to spectacular stream, every room has a great view. But that's where it ends. The rooms have a mildewy smell - it's awful unless you keep the doors open. The furnishings in the room are of a low end budget motel.

You don't have a lot of good options in this part of Corsica, so keep your expectations low.

The highlight of staying there was actually eating next door. The Auberge Restonica - restaruant - is terrific.

Nice location by the river but the rooms are not what I would expect for €200 a night. You can tell they are trying to improve it- our bathroom was very modern, but the room reminded me of a good motel.

Overall we really liked this hotel. We had a nice room with a great view. The staff were helpful and friendly. We stayed here end of April 2011 - off season for Corsica, so the place was quiet, and we thought it represented good value for money.

We had a river view room with a balcony. The room was a reasonable size. The bedroom part was clean, tidy and well maintained, but the decor was dated (see pics); the bathroom part looked like it had just been refurbished, and was like I’d expect in a 5 star hotel. The thing that really made it was sitting on the balcony looking over the river.

We had a nice meal at the restaurant next to the hotel. Breakfast was good too- continental, including meats and cheeses.

Other points: the hotel had free wifi, and a swimming pool. Parking was no problem.

Riverside setting was lovely, and Corte a scenic town. Neighbouring auberge was great for food.
