Riverside setting was lovely, and Corte a scenic town. Neighbouring auberge was great for food.

Stopped here for 2 nights on our tour of Corsica. A comfortable, well designed hotel right by the river. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms. A real gem! No restaurant but the hotel opposite is good. Would love to go back.

The hotel D. Colonna is located a short distance from Corte, a wonderfully interesting town. The area around Corte is stunning and a perfect place for those wishing to hike the many trails in that area. Unfortunately I injured my foot and was unable to hike so we cut out stay short. Externally the hotel looks very rustic, but interior is modern and well appointed. Lovely pool with plenty of good chairs for lounging and listening to the sound of the river and the breeze rustling the leaves. Only down side was the bed which to my taste was too hard.

We spent 10 days and it was too short ! The view over the Restonica is just awesome. The hotel is pleasant and the crew always smilling. We loved spending time around the swimming-pool, just sunbathing and drinking fresh Oreza.
