My daughter, taking her semester abroad in Prague, went with me to Chateau Mcely for a mother-daughter spa weekend. From the moment we entered the property, we were enchanted. The beauty of the setting, the grounds, the chateau is enchanting. The ambience of the chateau and spa is is soothing and healing, the staff warm and attentive, the rooms well appointed with tasteful elegance. The spa services we chose were the best we have experienced and not overpriced. The products used were fantastic, lovingly produced from organic herbs and flowers grown in their own woods. My husband, at home in the US, secretly arranged with the staff a horse and buggy ride through the forest for us. They kept the secret and rearranged that day's spa treatments to ensure our surprise. What a wonderful, restorative weekend! My only regret was that we had to leave!

Our Children gave me and my wife really big Christmas surprise - romantic weekend at Chateau Mcely. Lincoln limousine driver picked us up at home and than started three days full of amazing and so romantic moments. We slept in Deluxe room called "Europa" with viewpoint to winter park. We used spa with relax massage, took dinner with 3 courses, degusted wine. Next day we spent time with viewing Chateau. Than we walked in park with chronicler and listening her interesting lecture about history of Chateau Mcely. Evening was in token of New Year's Eve party - Cuban rums tasting, dancing, viand, firework in midnight ... we went to bed early morning, pleasantly tired. 3rd day we started with Brunch and than enjoyed one hour of romantic driving with carriage and pair. We left Chateau with amazing feelings. Romantic place, nice room, excelent services, perfect staff, delicious food. If we can inspire your decision, we recommend Chateau Mcely.

The pictures of this place do it no justice. This place is for the traveler(s) looking to unwind, slow down, and relax for a bit. It's in the DNA of the place, ie. the rooms have names instead of numbers.

There's a selection of spa services that are done in a very relaxed atmosphere and space. I enjoyed two massages while there on a quick 2-day hideaway from Prague. To be completely honest, I've had better massages for much less. Maybe it's hard to get good help this far out in the country.

The quiet walks around the property are unbelievable. This is a great little drive from Prague, through small towns. I even stopped at bars along the way for a real authentic experience (it was). If you want to escape Prague for a serene hideout, voila.

Beautiful relaxing place, ideal for quiet time and relax, staff is amazing, food is to die for, our desserts was decorated with real gold. Me and my husband just did spend weekend there and we loved it, we could even take our 4 greyhounds with us and i have to say we loved it, we was pampered and spoiled, staff looked after us so well we did feel like royalty, they always make sure you fell well, always smiles, the whole place smile at you. Also our doggies was looked after like royalty, they loved dinner made by chef for them and walks in gardens and woods, we was able to take them with us to massage room and also to dinner, truly charming and special place where guest is on first place and always feels great and we will surely visit again:)
